Introduction

money game bookI've been a student of Bob Scheinfeld's Phase 2 work since the beginning of 2005.
I started with the 7 Power Center of Life course (now replaced by "Journey To The Infinite") , which has a general, foundational approach, and then continued with the Busting Loose From The Money Game Home Transformational Study and the Busting Loose From The Money Game book.

I've been into self-growth, spiritual-growth, success-growth etc. all my adult life (since 1973). But I have never before encountered anything that has transformed my life as much, from day one.

Life changes

When you study Bob's material and then start applying the tools he shares, your perception of life changes so dramatically that it is impossible to describe it in words. So just to give you an impression:

Simplicity

Living your life becomes very, very simple.

Simple doesn't necessarily mean easy - a transformational process of such dimensions presents serious challenges and demands serious commitment.

Simple means you find a very simple way to respond to anything at all, you can live moment by moment and you don't have to be proactive about anything.

In all areas of life

Although you don't do it in order to create specific changes, changes do take place. In my case I'm experiencing profound changes not only in my relation with money, but in all significant relationships, work, health, body, the way I think and feel and express myself, my creativity and last but not least spirituality.

No more searching

For me personally, this is something that I've been searching for all my life; I always knew this was the ultimate way to live my life - I just didn't know how to do it. I've been getting closer to it step by step, but I didn't have a tool that worked (this one does! every time). Also, I didn't know anyone who would give me that necessary "push over the edge". Bob does that too.

Enlightenment

I'd go as far as to say that this isthe most practical way to enlightenment / awakening / freedom I've ever seen. It's a path where every single stone becomes a gift right there, right now. Also, it's a path that's full of joy and wonderful surprises.

"Busting Loose from the Money Game is a well-thought-out, well-written philosophy, not only about money but about the Game of Life. Money is simply a convenient hook to lead the reader to create revolutionary changes in understanding, thought, and action. The philosophy presented applies to every area of life: money, relationships, creativity, purpose, and meaning."- says Phyllis Staff at Amazon.com

It's so true! But nevertheless you surely want to know how this system has affected my financial situation:

Financial changes

I have reached a point where I do not take decisions based on how much money I have or not have.

For example, I don't work for money. I do what I feel like doing which at the present moment means working in a kindergarten twice a week (I love it!) and spending the rest of my time on my creative projects: writing fiction, playing music and playing with my websites.

And it is work in progress: I am still discovering the magnificent ways I've been programming myself with regards to  money, and I'm still in the process of transforming what might be called residue from that.

Freedom, Trust and Safety

As for most people, fear has had a major role in keeping me in a limited state. Not in any somatic way, just in the way it permeates so many thoughts, feelings, choices - most of which I and you are hardly aware of.

I'd say that Busting Loose From Money Game (and any other game) is very much about busting loose from fear. It takes profound work and it crates profound openings.

I have never felt that free my entire life.

I have never had that sense of safety and trust my entire life.

Busting loose from the money game - how it feels

busting loose newsletter

Busting loose means opening to infinite abundance. Infinite is not about numbers (they all are less than infinite!) - it's much more a feeling. You will get a sense of it from reading about this experience I had in the kindergarten where I work. If however you prefer the bare facts, continue here:

A metaphor

Here's the metaphor - although it happened in real life:

One day one of the kids asked me if I'd like to play a game with them? I would, and she picked a game - which turned out to be a version of Monopoly. A money game, in other words.

Playing Monopoly is such fun: it's fun to feel that you can give money out without any worry, because you know it's just a game, and it can't make you any poorer - only richer in experience and fun. So - for me at least - there was no sense in counting how much money I had, or trying to figure out if I should spend them buying this or that, no sense in developing any financial strategies here. I just did what I felt like doing and didn't care about the result.

The girl who invited me to play wanted to take charge of the Monopoly bank (she's the oldest there and fascinated by numbers). She enjoyed it at first, but then after a while she became a little bit bored. So she gathered all the money in the bank and showed it to me and then she said "I have more money than you". But I said "No, I have an infinite amount of money, you just can't see it. And so have you by the way".

Then she did something else, several times. She pretended that she would give me all the money in the bank - but then she withdrew the money in the last minute. "I'm just teasing" she said. I realized I felt a little bit disappointed - it could be a great symbol to get all that money... or would it really?

Anyhow, the game continued and then the girl started doing something really interesting. Every time I purchased something, she would give me money - always some more than what I just had "spent". She did it secretly, so none of the other kids did see it. Also, from time to time she simply gave me some money for no apparent reason

I enjoyed the game thoroughly until at some point I had to go some place else to help some other kids. At that point I simply left the game.

This is almost a perfect metaphor of what Busting Loose From The Money Game is all about:
